Shimon Alon

Chairman and CEO
Shimon Alon, Chairman of the Board, was appointed Chief Executive Officer on June 1st 2008. Previously Mr Alon was CEO of Precise Software Solutions, a leading provider of application performance management. Following the acquisition of Precise by VERITAS Software Corporation in June 2003, Mr. Alon served as an executive advisor to VERITAS. Prior to Precise Software, Mr. Alon held a number of positions at Scitex and its subsidiaries including President and Chief Executive Officer of Scitex America and Managing Director of Scitex Europe. Mr. Alon holds a degree from the Executive Management Program at the Harvard Business School.

Andy Bailey

Vice President, Worldwide Marketing & EMEA Operations
As the VP Worldwide Marketing, Andy has overall responsibility for the strategic positioning, direction and execution of all of Attunity’s corporate, product and field marketing initiatives. From November 2007, Andy also assumed operational and sales responsibilities for the EMEA region. Andy brings with him more than 20 years of technical, sales, channel, investment and marketing experience in the B2B high-technology space, having worked in a variety of roles for Oracle, i2, Interregnum plc, Metastorm and CommerceQuest. He holds a B.Sc (Eng) Hons from King’s College, University of London, and was awarded the Peplow Prize for Engineering in 1985.

Dror Elkayam

Vice President of Finance
Dror has been Attunity's Vice President of Finance and Secretary since October 2004. Prior to that he served as Director of Finance and Corporate Secretary of Precise from August 1997 until June 2003, and as Finance Manager of Precise from June 2003 until September 2004, following the acquisition of Precise by Veritas. Mr. Elkayam holds a B.A. degree in economics and accounting from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. He is also a certificated public accountant in Israel.

Mel Passarelli

Vice President of Sales for North America

Mel Passarelli is vice president of sales for North America. In this role, Mel is responsible for increasing Attunity’s penetration in multiple verticals across the workplace applications market. Mel leverages his years of experience in sales to drive both the direct sales and indirect sales opportunities for Attunity. Mel brings over twenty years of experience in the enterprise software space and in engineering.

Prior to joining the company, Mel was vice president of sales for various private and public software companies helping them to achieve rapid growth. He spent over thirteen years helping to build Intergraph Corporation into a Fortune 500 company.

Mel holds a BA and MBA from the State University of New York in Buffalo, and a Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University School of Law in Boston.

Zafrir Ron

Vice President, Research and Development and World Wide Support

Zafrir is responsible for the research and development of all Attunity products and worldwide product support. Zafrir has more that 15 years of experience in various systems and software development management positions. Zafrir served in the Israeli Air force from 1984 to 2003. He holds a BSc. in engineering from the Israel Institute Of Technology and an MBA from the Tel Aviv University.

Aki Ratner

Mr. Ratner was the President of Precise Software Solutions where his responsibilities included overseeing worldwide sales and marketing, product support and research and development programs for the Company. Mr. Ratner served in the Israeli Air Force from 1981 to 1996 where he combined operational responsibilities between flying and numerous software development management positions.

Anat Segal

Anat Segal currently runs an independent advisory practice providing investment banking services, financial and strategic consulting to high-tech companies. Prior to this, Ms. Segal was Managing Director and Head of Corporate Finance, with Tamir Fishman & Co., the then Israeli strategic affiliate of Hambrecht & Quist, VP Investment Banking with Robertson Stephens & Co / Evergreen, and held senior positions with Bank Hapoalim Group and Poalim Capital Markets. Ms Segal also serves as a board member in several private and public companies. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management, MBA and L.L.B., all from the Tel Aviv University.

Dan Falk

Dan Falk served as the President and Chief Operating Officer and then Chief Executive Officer of Sapiens International Corporation N.V., Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Orbotech, and held senior positions at Israel Discount Bank Ltd.
Dan Falk serves as the chairman of the board of directors of Atara Technology Ventures and is a member of the boards of directors of Nice System Ltd, Orad Ltd, Netafim Ltd, Visionix Ltd., Ramdor Ltd., Medcon Ltd. and Advanced Vision Technology Ltd. He received a master's degree in business administration in 1973 from the Hebrew University School of Business.

Dov Biran

Dov Biran is a professor of Management Information Systems at Northeastern University. Prior to joining the Northeastern University faculty, Professor Biran was the acting CEO and the CTO of Attunity. He previously founded and served as president of Bridges for Islands, Ltd., a company that develops infrastructure for systems integration and B2B. Professor Biran also founded and served as the CEO of Optimal Technologies, Ltd., a leading strategic IT consulting firm in Israel. He holds a B.Sc, MBA and a Ph.D. in Computers and Information Systems from Tel Aviv University in Israel.

Ron Zuckerman

Mr. Zuckerman was a founder and CEO of Sapiens International Corporation and currently serves as its non-executive Chairman. In addition, Mr. Zuckerman was a founder and the Chairman of Precise Software Solutions prior to its sale to VERITAS in 2003.

Zamir Bar-Zion

Zamir Bar-Zion served as Managing Director for Nessuah Zannex & Co./USBancorp Piper Jaffray from 1998 through 2001. From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Bar-Zion served as a private financial consultant. As of May 2004, Mr. Bar-Zion rejoined Exellence Neshua/Piper Jaffray as the MD investment Banking in Israel. Mr Bar-Zion received his B.Sc. in Computer Science and Finance from new York Institute of Technology, an M.A. from the Department of Finance from Pace University, New York, and a PMD from the Program Management Development Program at Harvard University.
